We provide an invaluable service to parents and children from Hamble, Netley Abbey and surrounding areas to access our After school club and Holiday Club, offering  flexibility for those with work,family or educational commitments.

This statement outlines the services that children, parents/carers and the community can expect from our Club, and the values that inform our work:

Creative Kidz is an independent company who offer a high quality child-care facility-After School and during School Holidays to children aged between 4 and 11 yrs. Such a facility is known as an “Out-of-School-Club” because it offers children a safe, stimulating environment outside of school hours. The club is not open access. In order to use our service, children must be registered with Creative Kidz and be collected by their Parent’s/Carer’s.

Our Club aims to:

0. Help children develop their full potential through positive Social, Physical, Intellectual, Creative and Emotional (SPICE) experiences by providing a Happy, Stable, Secure and Fun environment where parents/carers feel confident to leave their children.

0. Creative Kidz also seek to maintain high standards at all times and to recognise values deriving from different backgrounds, i.e. racial, cultural, religious and linguistic.
0. The staff provides a structured framework while at the same time endeavouring to ensure equal opportunity by meeting the needs of each individual regardless of disability or gender.
0. Promote a positive relationship with parents/carers and work in partnership with them to provide High Quality play and care for their children.
0. Undergo regular monitoring and evaluation of our services to ensure that the Club continues to meet the needs of children and parents/carers.
0. Encourage children to have a positive attitude and respect for both themselves and other people.
0. Offer inclusive services that are accessible to all children in the community.

Our Club is committed to meeting the needs of parents/carers by:

0. Listening and responding to their views and concerns.
0. Keeping them informed of our policies and procedures, including opening times, fees and charges, and programmes of activities.
0. Sharing and discussing their child’s achievements, experiences, progress and friendships, along with any difficulties that may arise.

Our club is committed to providing:

0. Care and activities that put the needs and safety of children first.
0. A programme of activities that is interesting, educational, stimulating and of course FUN.
0. Activities that promote each child’s social, physical, moral and intellectual development.
0. Access to a variety of facilities and equipment under safe and supervised conditions.
0. A staff team, which is experienced, well trained, valued and well supported.
0. Services that meet the conditions of the Children’s Act 1989 and all other relevant legislation, wherever they apply.
0. An environment where no child is bullied or intimidated or suffers discrimination of any form.

OUR ROLE IN THE COMMUNITY

We pride ourselves in the fact that, we are a local community based group, catering to the childcare needs of our local community.

Our staff team work together and are affiliated with - Hamble and Netley Abbey Schools as well as Hamble mother and toddler group and Hamble village playschool under the extended schools umbrella, which enables a continuity of care which is second to none.

Most of the children who attend Creative Kidz already know members of our staff team, as we are familiar faces in the community
