Initial Induction Training
All new members of the team have to complete an induction process, part of this process is that staff are required to complete 2 compulsory online training courses which consists of Safeguarding Training and Prevent Training. Further to this the applicant will be introduced to a mentor who will show you the ropes and signpost you to important information such as Health and safety guidance, policies and procedures.
Further training opportunities
We offer a 12 Hour Paediatric First Aid Course which is nationally recognised and fulfils Ofsted requirements.
This innovative course combines one day of focussed practical training, with 4-6hrs of interactive e-learning. The result is a memorable and enjoyable learning experience that maximises recall and provides the skills, knowledge and confidence to act effectively when emergencies arise.
The practical training takes place at your nearest Training Centre under the guidance of our fun, dynamic and experienced trainers and the e-learning stage can be completed via any internet-based device.
The course meets all OFSTED requirements and CSSIW and Scottish Early Years
This qualification is valid for 3 years.
At our Breakfast and After School Clubs we provide healthy and nutritious snacks for the children. Staff must hold a Food Safety certificate and we offer an online training course to all team members.
We value our team members and aim to offer a comprehensive training package. During employment with Creative Kidz you will recieve ongoing supervision meetings, peer observations and yearly appraisal as part of our staff management system. This process, amongst other things is used to determine training goals and needs.
