What do i need to be able to access your service?

Creative Kidz can provide high quality childcare for weddings, christenings, conferences, training courses, parties, shows, events. All we need is a room, located in the same venue as your event.

We will sort everything else so that you can relax and enjoy your event knowing that the children are relaxed and having fun in a safe and stimulating, child centred environment.

We offer a bespoke service, personal to you, if you have any particular requirements; please discuss this with the manger.

 

Tell me about Staff

Creative Kidz Mobile Crèche staff are fully trained childcare professionals, Creative Kidz is committed to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare therefore applicants will be subject to a robust recruitment procedures including adherence to the safer recruitment process. Our staff are DSB checked and have received training in first aid, health and safety and safeguarding children and are specifically chosen for their sense of fun, and quality of childcare experience.

 

Staff to Child Ratios

Creative Kidz Crèche Staff work with
Ofsted guidelines. The staff to child ratios is as follows

 

3 months - 2 years = 1:3

2+ years - 3 years = 1:4

3+ years - 8 years = 1:8

 

What areas do you cover?

We currently offer a crèche service throughout the south east of England although we are happy to consider other areas.

 

What venue facilities do we require?

We require the event’s organiser to provide us with a suitable, safe room, on the same site as the event- including
outdoor space if at all possible.

Most venues have an area or a side room where the Crèche can set up, or if you’re having a marquee, a section set aside, a secondary side tent or extention will be adequate as long as it has enough room for the children to play safely. If you’re unsure, let us know and we will talk to your venue provider to find the perfect solution.

 

Health and Safety

Creative Kidz Mobile Crèche staff will risk assesses the areas provided prior to each event, to ensure the space is both safe and suitable for children.

We will need to speak to the venue proprietor to ascertain a fire evacuation procedure and assembly point and we will need a site map.

 

Arrivals and Departures

You will need to issue directions to the parents of the children attending so that they are aware of where to drop off and collect the children.

Children can be visited or collected any time during the crèche booking. 

 

Strict collection procedures must be adhered to including signing the children in and out and recording the hours of attendance. Parent’s and carers must introduce themselves to crèche staff so that they are familier.

 

Children must be collected by the child’s parent or carer although we can add additional designated adults to the childs records if you wish. We must however be supplied with this person’s name, address and telephone number prior to collection, you will also need to supply us with a password for verification purposes. Upon collection we have a strict verification procedure which will include an identity and password check.

The staff at Creative Kidz reserve the right to question the suitability and/or state of a parent/carer who arrives to collect their child. If the parent/carer appears to be in an unfit condition the safety and well-being of the child will be the primary concern.

 

Creche costs

Creative Kidz Mobile Crèche charge a set fee for the first two hours of the crèche and then for each additional hour required.

Our prices do vary depending on your location, how many children will be attending the crèche and their ages, and of course, duration of the crèche.

 

All quotes include:

Crèche set-up
Resources and equipment for play provision.
Public Liability Insurance.
Childcare staff
Registration of every child in attendance.
Security wrist bands and name tags for all children.
Communication and liaising with event co-ordinator/organiser.
DSB checked staff, subject to robust recruitment procedures.
Resources and equipment for play provision.
Delivery and collection of resources and equipment.

 

Hours

We charge on an hourly basis, we are available Monday to Sunday-8 till late. We aim to be completely flexible. If you need to extend the hours previously booked, this must be discussed with the manager, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs depending on circumstances.

We can also provide quotes for a babysitting service.

 

Food and drink

Sterilised bottles, milk and baby food must be provided by the parents.

 

Food for older children can be provided at extra cost if required, however if food could be provided by the event organiser this would be ideal.

All products must be nut-free. Fresh drinking water will be available at all times. If you wish us to provide food please ask the event organiser for a quote.

 

Is there anything else I need to
provide?

Online registration will need to be completed for each child attending.

We ask all parents to complete an “all about me sheet” detailing likes/dislikes etc. If your child has a comforter, it would be ideal to bring this also.

Any medication used by children such as asthma inhalers will need to be provided *see health, sickness and medication policy. We will provide nappies and wipes, if you prefer to use your own this is not a problem please specify this on the registration form.

 

Please name all of your children’s equipment so that we know what belongs to each child.

 

Creative Kidz Mobile Crèche will provide all toys and equipment necessary to amuse the ages of children specified on the booking form. A pushchair would come in handy for babies and small children.

I've booked a crèche what happens next?

After an initial crèche booking, our crèche manager will contact you prior to
the day to discuss your requirements for the wedding/event. We will need to see the venue in order to do the risk assessment.

The crèche is carefully planned to ensure your occasion is totally stress free. We pride ourselves on a personal service and are happy to discuss any special requirements you may have.
